0x Protocol Developers Update 0x Mesh, Launch Kits and More

In case you are not fully familiar with 0x Mesh, the technology is being co-developed in a partnership between 0x and StarkDEX. The decentralized platform will be used in order to create an order book that will be easy to track on your browser. So far, the project is in beta and already available on Github, since it is an open source project.

Another important upgrade is related to how often people complain that the ZRX tokens are not really useful other than as a method for fee payments. Because of this, now the developers are trying to let people pay fees using any kind of token, not only their official ZRK tokens. However, most of the other use cases for the token are still considered to be under development.

New Order Book Developer for Relayers

The relayer launch kit is considered another important milestone as well. It was officially launched back in November last year, but it receiving several updates since then. Now, for instance, the relayers can offer trades with a new interactive order book.

Developers will now also be able to build on any kind of programming language they want, which will remove some obstacles for people who were interested but were not great Java or Python devs, as these were the only two languages available before.

The Future of 0x

The monthly report also touched on the future of the ecosystem. For instance, the focus on the Solidity software will be increased soon and other languages other than WebAssembly will be allowed to be used on Solidity.

Another important plan is to fully integrate the Ethereum Node.js virtual machine with the system in order to make Solidity more functional and to execute it on the Ethereum virtual machine, which can be used to modify the utility code of the program.

Finally, the team also promoted to update the Web3 sub provider to be able to be used on Trezor wallets, as well and to sign messages.
